DISCIPLINE POLICY

Young Gemynds International School

DISCIPLINE POLICY

INTRODUCTION

“Motivation keeps you going but discipline keeps you growing”
We aim to maintain a climate of order which is necessary so that our students could learn better. It is therefore crucial that they manifest self-control, show respect and consideration for the rights of others and accept the consequences of their acts. Our main objective is for our students to develop self-discipline and proper conduct.

All decisions on discipline are made on the authority of the School Directress in consultation with the offices of the Principal and Branch In-charge.
The class adviser sees to it that the discipline is maintained by his/her advisory class. Discipline is of the highest when it’s emanated from the student himself/herself who brings about order in the school through self-discipline.

WHAT IS STUDENT’S GENERAL BEHVIOUR?
YGIS students are expected to represent and practice the school’s core values – Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Truth and Honesty. In the same manner, Respect, Courtesy, and Politeness are given emphasis in order to create an atmosphere that is conducive to learning.
